First of all - EVERYONE Run In Paris!! That's amazing to see - moms with strollers, paw parents, Wall Street men, students, busy ones..everyone find time for a run. And the city don't have to be perfectly constructed for it so you see people run just on the streets in any district.

RunThenWine have rented a cozy apartment right next to the Eiffel Tower and let me tell you - this is the best experience a runner can live. The area is "Upper East Side" (if you know what I mean), you got out from your apartment which was servant's apartment approx 200 years earlier, walk 2 blogs..and here you are..the Icon of Paris in front of you. The park around Eiffel Tower was made for running and even if you run 100 times around it you don't get bored.

However, I can add 2 favorite spots to Run in Paris as well:

  • Luxemburg Gardins - waaay bigger then the Eiffel Tower Park and favorite spot for a run of Emily in Paris..beautiful fountains, trees, popular green chairs which can be later used for a post-run wine table :)

  • River Seine - dividing the beautiful city into two parts while running you can pass popular museums and enjoy architecture from any side.

Practical advice - wanna look like a local then don't wear hundred layers even for a winter run. Enjoy!

Yours RunThenWine Eli
